Colour on a Grey Day

The weather forecast spoke of wild weather and lots of rain but most of the  day has just been drizzly and very grey. I had an appointment at the surgery for routine stuff and on the way back I pulled up by Wear Farm where I'd noticed some trees that were showing their Autumn colours. I thought that they'd be just right for a blip on a dull day.

That weather seems to be rolling in now. It's raining hard and the wind's blowing the trees around. We'll batten down the hatches for the night!
