What is it?

We planted some bulbs earlier this year. Just cheap ones from Morrison's. Only greenery appeared until last week when these pretty white and purple flowers appeared. I can't find the packet so I'm not sure what they are. Any ideas folks?

Thanks for your suggestions. Just found it in a gardening book. It's Acidanthera, scented, autumn flowering but bulbs need to be lifted before the first frost and kept warm and dry. I might dig up some of them and leave a few to see if they survive.
