Gone to bed is the setting sun

After such a dull, cold day with not a glimpse of sunshine I was so surprised to spot a tinge of red behind the roof of the house across the road.

I grabbed my camera, found a pair of shoes and a jacket and headed very quickly for the cemetry just down the road ..... my best vantage spot for autumn/winter sunsets.  A minute or two later and I would have missed it.
