LOVE

This was the powerful theme throughout the service to celebrate the life of Sally..... A dear friend from church. She will Be remembered for her kindness and care. Her welcomed people fully into the church was non judgemental and worked tireless for those less lucky than herself. The tributes by her family were powerful and funny. She had fought cancer for a while and her wish to return home was achieved. Tentatively her and her husband made a bucket list...the main one was to teach their 55th wedding anniversary which was today....the day he said goodbye. Her husband also sang a song from Les Mis.....not a dry eye in the house. The whole service was the most powerful funeral I’ve been to.....the message of love was concluded with the message to look your loved ones in the eye and say “I love you”.
Goodbye Sally...your presence with always be felt in our church family.
