Progress?

The new shops at Raeburn Place inStockbridge on the grounds of Edinburgh Academicals are really taking shape now. The rugby club are getting a new stand out of it which goes behind and on top of the shops. It looks better than I thought it might being set back from the road but it will make a big change for the flats opposite. There is dispute over a narrow strip of land in front of the development too which could prevent access. I'm not convinced that Stockbridge really needs a Marks and Spencer Simply food any way, as it already has a Sainsbury's express, a Coop, Scotmid, and Waitrose and it's less than a mile from Morrisons, and from Sainsbury's, Marks and Spencer etc at Craigleith. Today was as busy as ever, although I was away from the house more than yesterday.
Best bit... taking communion to Isobel in her nursing home and seeing her face light up as she remembered the words.
