The Beresford

Co-presented a workshop in Glasgow today and it was around the corner from this spectacular building. I knew it during my student days as Baird Hall, some of my friends lived here. However before Strathclyde University turned it into student accommodation in the 1960s, it was an Art Deco hotel (1938) and Glasgow’s first skyscraper. Strathclyde sold it in 2002 and it’s now private flats. Met son no 3 after the workshop before heading home for a Curry Club get-together. Long day.
