Back on the surface

Walking at Western Springs Lake ths afternoon.
Papango were numerous and busy diving .
Black swans nearly as many, and juveniles were frequent. 
Gulls everywhere.
On Karuhiruhi (Pied shag) in the middle of the lake and preening.

The drops of water all over this male papango made this photo most appealing to me.
