An excellent day

Picked up our friends and headed to the new Aberdeen exhibition centre so we could visit the North East’s caravan show. Pleasantly surprised to realise that parking was free for the day!
It wasn’t a very big show but we managed to while away a good 5 or so hours - some of that time was taken up with chatting but still managed to visit many motorhomes and campervans. Our friends had pretty much decided they wanted a VW California so we then visited a local dealer. Impressed at the amount of storage available in a small van but it’s too wee for me.

Back to town to drop off the car at the hotel and then up to Alan and Les’s house for ore dinner drinks. Our other friends decided to stay over so we were 6 for dinner. A delicious curry where I discovered how good it is to mix lime pickle with the curry and eat with naan bread - tip courtesy of our lovely waiter (who took the photo of us all).
Back to Alan and Les’s for post dinner drinks before we called it a night around midnight.
Great day and evening with good company.
