Haircut time. I've been going to Woods for 27 years or so. Not much changes. Even some of the staff are the same. Can never see why I'd ever go anywhere else, unless it can be made to grow back all over, in which case there might be something to do other than just shave it short.

In other news, I had a eureka moment today when I worked out that the author husband of a long term friend/colleague called Ian is actually Ian Rankin. Boy do I feel stupid. But that explains probably why we get on as I wasn't 'starstruck'. May also explain why she kept her surname.
