A walk on the wild side

Today was workshop day.. as predicted the rain stopped us from going out to the site to draw our sketches so instead we worked inside with a limited pallette of Payne's Grey, Burnt Sienna, White and Lemon Yellow.  As I don't usually work in Arcylics it was a big learning curve but l do really like this small picture so I thought I would share it with you.  Hopefully tomorrow morning we will be able to get out in the morning to give us something to work from.
This was classed as a sensational painting!!  ie drawing on the senses to help us make marks.  Mine had a lot of birds and bird song surrounding me on my walk in the countryside :)
