Sugar Overload

It was our great niece’s first birthday party today. As our daughter was working (or at least sleeping ahead of a night shift) we took our granddaughters along with us, as they would have been unable to go otherwise. 


We collected them around 9:30 and drove down to Nottingham in horrendous rain. Really hard to drive as it was like driving in fog...

Anyway, they had a whale of a time at the party (at Strelley Hall) and afterwards at our niece’s house. They both behaved beautifully..

Not back home until late afternoon and this one of just a few shots that I took - a phone grab of a large tub of sweets...which proved popular with most of the children. The brightly coloured packaging obviously designed to catch the eye.
 
A long day and there are several beers with my name on them in the fridge.
