Six Day London

We all love six day cycling. It loud and exciting. This year was no exception as Mark Cavendish and Elia Viviani were battling for the title.

The kids raced each other on these bikes over 250m. C beat W, just, but am pretty sure she would have been faster if she had been on an adult bike rather than the same size frame as W but with the seat post at it's highest point!

Will was desperate for a high five from a cyclist, but I thought we were too high round the bend. Just before we left one of the Americans just missed his hand, but the next minute, Consonni, Viviani's partner, came round and smacked Will's hand. It sounded like a gun shot! Will was so chuffed but later admitted it had kind of hurt!

Long journey home with bits of A406 and M25 closed. But they were in PJ's and slept for most of it.
