Star Prize Hurl-Barrow

The winds calmed today, but still heavy showers this morning.  It was a sunny afternoon, with more heavy showers tonight.

I've been working at the museum again today.  It was a fairly quiet day, the rain must have put people off this morning, and quiet with the fine afternoon.  I've been working at the auction sale this evening. Met friends late tonight for a quick pint.

Another really successful auction sale tonight, and another good turnout.  Plenty were spending plenty too, with Douglas Halcrow's hat getting sold for a fun, and he bought it back for £18.  The tea break of fancies was perfect too.  The star of the show was this hurl-barrow, handmade by John Wishart for the sale.  It sold for £200, and worth it.  On the stage L-R - Mam Pat, Douglas Halcrow, Andrew Nicolson and John Adamson.  Nephew Isaiah on right and my other helper James Nicolson.  Taken in the Cunningsburgh hall.
