Not scenic maybe.......

......but at least this route home from the Cullercoats Coop offered a bit of shelter from the wind (which had an icy edge to it this morning, let's just say I regretted not wearing gloves and donning an extra layer......don't be fooled by that blue sky!) I wasn't tempted in the slightest to brave the sea front........
