The rose of York.

Looking for something else I found a small bag with costume jewellery, saved to effect repairs on other bits of jewellery. In the bag was this cap badge. The K.O.Y.L.I. A French Horn and the Rose of York.

I think it may be a family heirloom, but I don'r really know who wore it.
