Very bright sunlight...

...and strong early afternoon shadows, as we left Stirling Castle.

We had arrived just after opening time to avoid crowds. There were spectacular views from the battlements (as in the extra of the Wallace monument). The guided tour was interesting and informative - the castle was well worth the visit.

Internet access continues to be problematic - there is only so long you can make a coffee last in a cafe. So will catch up with commenting as and when possible.
