Limping home

Supposed to be spending an hour or so on the Oxford Canal in the last race of the year but the boat had other ideas. The rudder broke at the start - we managed 10 metres and then tipped over. The Oxford Canal is not a pleasant place to swim in late October! It was gratifying to feel how uncontrollable the boat was as we limped back to the car park - we never had a chance!
