I had a great evening with a couple of friends at a play whose lead was playing someone who stammers. We were asked to complete a questionnaire pre- and post-performance for some research into whether theatre can affect people's attitudes to stammering (though the audience was definitely not a cross section of the population). There was a very interesting Q&A after the performance with the director and two speech therapists, then long discussions about that and much else in the pub.

Then I got seriously wet cycling home in the small hours.
