Autumn is more advanced here than in London - we have had three frosts here so far and that has accelerated the leaf fall. The colours are beautiful just now but they won't last long. Already the lovely red leaves of the Virginia Creeper on the front of the house are piling up in drifts which D rakes up and takes to the woods.
