can't see the woods...or the trees!
blimey it was cold this morning. out walking Pete at half six, and auditioning for Dancing on Ice at the same time! Pete slipped over, and i very nearly did too! managed to maintain my dignity, and most of my cuppa in the thermos!
the fog was very thick, and by the time i left for work, it had hardly lifted. therefore, why do people still drive around without lights on?! -2.5 as i drove through Giltbrook....the cold snap is definately here.
into work, and a busy day ahead. meetings and calls all morning, and then leave Nottingham for a meeting in Burton in the afternoon.
the fog didn't lift all day, and on the way home it's even thicker. stopped to take this photo on the way home. strange as the fog made everything lighter, when it should be dark.
home, tea, visit to aunty jean (no one could reach her on the dog and bone!). then a long walk out in the spooky dark foggy night.....only to return to watch Ripper Street!!! might need a whisky!
can't believe how quick these 5 days have gone! it's Friday already tomorrow!
