Ballroom Blitz

Amazing day

Walked to Cleveleys in bright but very cool windy conditions. Saw a guy sea fishing and he caught a whopper big fish which I suspect he’ll eat later. Went around the charity shops and then stopped for a lunch in a local cafe - very nice, I was dipping my barmcake in the gravy boat!

Walked to St Mary’s Shell - sculpture on the beach - I’ve seen it featured in other’s blips before and decided it was worth the walk- really lovely to photograph!

Got the tram back to the Tower to be treated by experiencing this huge Earth instillation lit from within- it looked amazing. Wonder if it’s designed by the same guy who is involved with the moon sculptures?

Had a drink and watched the dancing. The couple wearing Royal Blue in the bottom left of the dance floor are really great and I’ve seen them dancing at the tower a couple of times before over the years. Photo taken from the top floor of the ballroom which is very high up and everything feels like it’s on a big slope! Rather disorientating.

Saw a murmuration of birds at the North Pier as the sun started to go down - all rather lovely.

The journey home was pretty decent compared to the journey up
