EMERGENCY

A couple were getting married at our church on Saturday and they had hoped for a choir but unfortunately many were unavailable so myself and 4 others turned up as an emergency choir!!! It was so lovely to offer this gift to the couple (although I’m sure if they could hear me sing....). They work as bereavement counsellors in Nigeria and have seen sights and dealt with situations we can hardly image. This did not go unnoticed by the vicar who thanked them for actively doing God’s work.
My flower arrangement; blipped a few days ago, was also great for the occasion as they matched her bouquet!! It was also amazing that Sally’s husband joined us in the choir too. (See Thursdays blip)
An afternoon of crafting for the Christmas Fayre, a short thanksgiving service at the home of a boy who is 8 years on from a Bone Marrow Transplant.....a fabulous thing to be thankful for...and then a trip to watch a musical at a school theatre. It was very good.
A busy but enjoyable day.
