we did the illuminator! It was a cold, dark, hilly, muddy 15k and the second hill nearly killed us (beefy was by far the sweariest person on the run) but we did it and it felt ace at the end. those hills though, jeezo. we didn’t realise it was only 100 feet short of bennachie...probably best we didn’t. took us slightly longer than planned at 2h 15m but happy with that. beefy did really well considering his lack of training. we had chips on the way home too.
