Goodbye Hobbit House and back down the road, via Elin’s workshop to pick up the baubles, cooled by now. And also via Dunblane’s very wonderful butcher - Bennett’s, with its fabulous selectionné of pies.
So, home to blue skies and crisp air - ideal for a couple of hours gardening.
And later, once cosied inside, we did that thing young people do ... yes, yes, binge watched a TV series.. three episodes of A Confession with Martin Freeman which, being based on real life goings on, has got that extra grippingness, as demanded by your scribe.
