Spots and Stripes

Frost and frozen puddles this morning, later bright sunshine, but still cold, and as evening came down, so did the mist.

Up on the moors it was even colder. The Romans marched here - this gate is beside a section of Dere Street. It must have been rather daunting in this weather.

I've just about got up to date with the stitching, thank goodness. The garden needs to become the priority!
