Morning gold

This was the only picture taken today so it will have to do, which I think it does.
It was a gorgeous morning when I took my walk. This birch tree by the pond was intensively yellow in the sun, well balanced to the darker water in the background.

Again I'm preparing for a concert in ten days. It'll be fine but there's still a lot of work to do. I'm beginning to long for a morning where I can say: "I wonder what I shall do to day?" Those days will come, I'm sure. I'm happy I have rewarding and challenging things in front of me.
