A dentists appointment for a check up in the morning. I just had to hope that I could get on and off his chair. In and out quickly (hooray) then a slow wander home. 

Feeling more confident about my ability to get in and out of the car I considered an afternoon drive for a change of scenery but then read on the local newspaper website about 3 mile traffic jams in the Windermere area. 

Instead I walked (still slowly) along the riverside footpath to Waterhead. The photo was taken where the rivers Brathay and Rothay meet.
