Tiny Tuesday: Hanging on in there

We had a frost yesterday morning, which was possibly the first frost this Autumn.  There may also have been a frost on Sunday morning, but if there was, neither Cathy nor I were up early enough to have seen it - its nice to have a lie in occasionally.  

But despite the definite change in the weather, there are still a few flowers clinging on in the garden, and they brighten up what would otherwise be a fairly dull Tuesday.Certainly they hit the target for this week'sTiny Tuesday theme of "colour".

In the real world, the EU have granted the UK a "flextension" for the Brexit deadline and it looks as though our MPs are finally going to vote for an election to be called in December.  The twists and turns of our current British politics will no doubt make a fine doctoral thesis for some student of politics or history in years to come.  If only it was just the plot of a novel and not our collective futures that the politicians are playing with.
