Roses ..... but not Ramblin'!

Roadworks and traffic pile ups fairly lengthened my car journey to L's this morning. A trip that usually takes me 20 minutes took me about 45 this morning. I did phone and suggest that she went on to the sports centre I would drive straight there. One hour after leaving home I eventually arrived to join the other three for badminton .... grr! ..... it was just so frustrating.

The dogs, as usual, were pleased to see me when I arrived in the late morning. We set off in bright sunshine to walk round the local area.

There are still a few flowers in bloom. Today it was these lovely roses that caught my eye but as they weren't beside the wall I couldn't tell whether or not they were perfumed.
