Early Start – Hatley Sunrise
Using the Photographer's Ephemeris I worked out that sunrise this morning would be at a reasonable time and that it would light the road into Hatley. So up I rose at about 0610 to make the short drive to the village.
Well the time was a bit out and I was quite cold by the time the sun appeared over the Astor estate, but here's a sample of the glory that started then.
The extra is one of the pre-sunrise shots that I took – of the sky brightening over the disused railway line (the "Varsity Line", as was).
