Foldy's Cross
Foldy's Cross commemorates John Foldy, chaplain of Burnley Parish Church. It was made in 1520 and originally stood outside the south door of the Church.
Over the years it has been damaged, moved and repaired and now stands at the head of the Lime Avenue in Towneley Park.
A pleasant and refreshing afternoon stroll although a little chilly out of the sun.
