Nature Journal

Most pictures I shoot kind of from the hip, but I'll admit to posing this one. This journal, purchased at the New York Historical Society just west of Central Park when it hosted a Grateful Dead exhibit (I know...crazy, right?), serves as my nature journal. Today marks the one year mark of keeping a nature journal, and I haven't missed a day. I've recorded 15 eagles, Canadian geese, crows, coyotes, fir trees, pines, butterflies, the Deschutes, the Umpqua, the Calapooya...oh you get it...nature! I'll keep it up indefinitely.
