We have take-off!

There were 7 or 8 whitefaced herons in the Charlesworth Wetland this morning. I've never seen so many together before.
I was sitting in my car having a phone chat with my son, and enjoying seeing the birds - even though a fair way away. These were the last two to fly away. 
The Charlesworth Wetland is over the other side of Humphrey's Drive from the Estuary.
