Dinner - sorted!

Today is pretty well what I call a wasted day. The Rower's still feeling a little fragile, so I left him home and went to do the shopping. And klutz that I am, I dropped my brand new Samsung Galaxy S III on the concrete floor of the car park and smashed the glass. Luckily I didn't smash the phone.

So that was trip # 1. Trip # 2 was to the phone repair shop to have them replace the glass. They were quiet which was in my favour, because they did it while I waited. Still - half an hour of reading magazines 6 years out of date. They had sold out of robust phone cases. Back up the hill to feed a starving Rower.

Trip # 3, back down the hill to a bigger, better electronics store, to get a new phone case, which will protect the phone against the depredations of me. Not easy I might add - I must be one of the clumsiest people on the planet. I've been like it all my life, and it has been said that I can trip over a matchstick.

So, too hot and humid to do very much blipwise, although it occurred to me later I should have blipped the broken phone. Out into the back yard to survey our little domain, and honestly not very much around at all except bees. So bees it had to be, but I reckon I was lucky to get this one. I've seen this flower spider before, and it struck me how fat she is. This is why!

I'm a bit behind on comments - but I will catch up over the weekend. It's a very rare TV night tonight - So You Think You Can Dance USA - and I can't possibly miss it. I know the series has finished in USA, but please don't tell us who won!
