It could have been brighter

While Redilady enjoyed coffee with her volunteer friends I went to a different café for coffee with the husband of one of them who is also one of my friends. We were trying a place which used to be Café Valerie but has just reopened under a new owner. The coffee was strong, even by my standards, but the cakes were disappointing and I felt rather old.
My blip for Wide Wednesday is the pathway past the church and leading to the market place, which as this was a Wednesday, was even more deserted than usual.
