Lovely Surprise!

I got an earlier bus today. I queued up with everyone else, and as I got on the bus, the driver said to me 'can I say, I do like your outfit' - well that was a welcome boost at 7.25am!! I do try to be smart, but he didn't elaborate and I don't have a photo of myself for comments!!

Then mid morning I had a welcome message from one of my best friends Joanne, to say she had had a last minute change of plan, and was heading to Norwich for some shopping. So we met in Jarrolds for tea and a scone and chatted non stop. So much so that it was gone 2 when I realised the time, and we said our goodbyes. We will be meeting up in a month in Cambridge, along with other ex CCC pensions and payroll friends.

Now heading home. I feel like I've been working flat out again today, but have dancing tonight so need to leave the office now, plus head still isn't right, but I think fading (so hopeful it will be gone by friday).

Always so good to see my friends, as it doesn't happen often enough. Today has been a good one - thank you Joanne x
