The Highwayman Inn

After a walk on the beach the weather closed in so we headed off to The Highwayman Inn on Dartmoor for lunch.

I grew up in Plymouth and a trip to The Highwayman was a real treat - although I never went inside until I was in my twenties. There used to be a slide in the boot - better than Disneyland to this little girl. It’s quirky to say the least, we loved it but you have to have a sense of humour to appreciate the service from the staff! I’ve put a few extras to give you a flavour.

This evening we’ve been out for a lovely dinner and are now settled into the final instalment of HP.
