Autumn colours

Dan's away visiting a friend in Cambridge, this weekend, and the Minx and I have plans in Manchester for last night (Midge Ure) and tomorrow. Abi was perfectly happy to fit in with us, as long as she could get to work in Kirkby Lonsdale on Saturday afternoon.

Thus, I had an afternoon at home, both to do a few chores and to record the radio show. And take this photo in the front garden; a dull bush transformed by autumn.

After that, we went back down to Chorley, I had a swim, and then we - me, Abi, and the Minx - went for a meal at Piccolo, which looks set to become our new Chorley fave.
