Turning the Corner*

The dreaded winds didn’t materialize, the 4,000 firefighters from all over the state and beyond who are here helping made strides and ‘knocked the crap’ out of the part of the fire moving toward Santa Rosa. Containment of the Kincade fire went from 15 to 30%

Evacuation orders have been lifted for us, and Dana and Jim’s power has been restored, so things are looking up. My phone still isn’t working well so I can’t yet personally thank everyone who sent thoughts, prayers and words of encouragement, but writing these entries has kept me going as have your responses.
