Winter clobber time

Evening walks with the crawlers now call for winter clobber and lights - not even our neon orange is bright enough on its own for the dark nights.

It also means lots of pavement plodding as fields and lanes are out as they are just too dark to use safely.

Sadly, Tuesday night was very wet as well as dark.  I actually don’t mind plodding about and getting wet, it is the drying everything out later that I find annoying.
