Colorful Javelina

Many cities around the world have sponsored public art projects of animals or characters representative of their cities.  I remember when I lived in Buffalo, New York when several dozen sculptures of buffalos were painted by artists with different designs and colors and placed around the city.  Zurich and Chicago were two cities exhibiting cows.  The are dozens of other examples around the world.

Tubac, AZ has joined in the fun.  When I was there last week with fellow blipper Carolyn, they were not yet there. I took another trip to Tubac and Lo and behold! javelinas were all over the place.  Very cool!!
