Goodbye Maulds, Hello Keswick!!!

I've not said anything over recent months, as I didn't want to tempt fate after our sale fell through on our House in Maulds. However, we showed a lovely lady round in August and we had an offer that we accepted. We thought we'd need to move into rented accommodation before we found a house, but Deb was having her hair done in Keswick and her hairdresser told her about this house for sale in a road we didn't even know existed.

After massive stress, huge amounts of worry, fear that everything was going to fall through because exchange of contracts and completion only happened on the same day (today). The sale was reliant on our purchaser getting her divorce settlement, the deadline for which was today.

The good news is everything went ahead and we have a beautiful brand new home in Keswick with views over the whole of Keswick, and mountains from Catbells, through the whole of the Coledale horseshoe to Skiddaw!

Tears again from moving - but these were tears of absolute joy!

Now the fun of emptying hundreds of boxes over the next few weeks - but one thing's for sure - the only way you'd ever get Deb or I out of this house is in a box.
