Savoy
Dave left uncomfortably early - but it's the last time he'll have to do that this season. I went up to the allotment; there may have been a touch of frost. I'm very pleased with this cabbage, in spite of all the munching that's gone on around its outer leaves - first time I've ever managed a proper Savoy with a heart.
Went to the Vaults at lunchtime to meet up with my god(less?)daughter who's up in Edinburgh with friends. Lovely to see her again and we blethered away over soup and a sandwich. Spent the afternoon persuading the new laptop to speak to the printer (and the printer to listen to the new laptop) - what a palaver. Translated some Greek, with extreme difficulty.
