Pit Stop

The pre-school driving lesson was abandoned when I realised both “magnetic” L Plates had disappeared into hedges.

To fill the time before school, I bought him hot chocolate and a fresh-out-the-oven chocolate brownie. He hid his disappointment about the driving lesson abandonment very well.

Later, I drove Eve back to the flat.

Later still, I’ll be picking Joe up from his Halloween party.
