Sunshine and a good walk

Today was not as cold as yesterday!    It actually got up to 30F which is still freezing but wow, the sun was so worm I had to come out of my coat and just wear my fleece vest over my long sleeve shirt!    I did get good walk in the snow done today.  My ankle held up well!        The worst problem was my boots were not high enough for the drifts so I had snow in my boots and the legs of my jeans got wet.    Jerry had some "gaiters" that he said I can put over my legs and shoes that will keep the snow out.   Why did we not do this today?!

We have moved to a different location where we are staying with a woman named Linda who runs a hunting camp.  Her house is wonderful and we were entertained by a herd of deer in her yard.  She actually feeds them as I do at home.  She knows they might get shot but not here at her place.   Tomorrow we will be riding over to the actual property to scout out some locations to set up and wait for the elk to come.  Maybe they will!   Lots of walking involved which I am ready to do. 

We saw this barn on our way out of the town.  I have taken this same photo many times but it always looks different.   A driveby out the truck window but since the roads are still covered in snow we were going very slow!   

We are pretty much out in the middle of nowhere!   But we do have internet service!
