Scary

Less hectic day mainly because most of the afternoon was taken up in a viva. Went well and nice to chat briefly over drinks with the supervisory and examining team with the student afterwards.
Home and the C’s arrived (well, 6 of them!). Chatted on FaceTime to Mt&H to see them all going guising. Mx looked pleased with his sweets haul yet had decided he didn’t want to dress up, AR was all dressed up as a witch and I couldn’t work out what Lola was wearing! Showed Grandad around my flat...amazed we got him up the stairs....then L took him and H back to where they are staying and after feeding the other two M and I went down to the local Sardinian restaurant for some pasta and fish. Tasty and we had lots of jolly chat about family, university applications and house renovations, then home to pack for the weekend. E had been amusing herself by putting Halloween make up on, despite not going out!
