Last light
Today ran away from me completely, largely because I was trapped at home for several hours while my desktop computer was upgraded and converted to Windows 10. It seems to have gone fairly smoothly, although glitches may become apparent in the coming days.
I received some plant specimens for identification through the post, and while I was sitting upstairs at the microscope, staring hard at some rather nasty stonewort and pondweed samples, I spotted a flare of orange in the eastern sky. Not a spectacular sunset by any means, as there was only a sliver of colour in a generally grey sky, but sometimes you just have to take what you're given.
