Box of fresh goodies

This morning we walked to the village and at the church's new community hall there was a coffee morning in aid of Target Ovarian Cancer. As I have ovarian cancer, I was interested to learn of this charity.

It was very well attended and the coffee and home made cakes were delicious. They raised £300 for the charity.

We won this amazing raffle prize - a box full of fresh fruit and vegetables, and locally made jam, donated by a local farm shop. I also found out that the same farm donates a large amount of their produce to Swanley Food Bank.

I have felt much more energised and not fatigued today. Let's hope it continues.
