Looking upward.

On our last day in Belfast we walked to the old Haland and Wolf shipyard where the Titanic was built before setting sale on her sad and disastrous maiden voyage. The whole area has now been regenerated with the Titanic museum at its centre. Some of Game of thrones was filmed at Titanic studios and there is a trail of six stained glass monuments representing scenes from the series around the old docks and into the city.
We found this statue of a female figure looking out over the water representing hope, aspiration, peace and reconciliation. All superb values .

Grateful for time to be a tourist, the hope and reconciliation which were in evidence during our Belfast visit. Also the Ulster Fry cooked breakfast that set us up for a day of sightseeing.
