New Food For The Polar Bears

Today we dropped Sushi off for his last day and Mr Kit and I made use of our free parent passes to spend the morning at Yorkshire Wildlife Park.

It was slightly damp, so many of the animals were far more sensible than us and stayed warm and dry inside and some were huddled together to keep warm like these camels.

We were slightly worried about what we saw in the polar bear enclosure though...not sure whether it was a new exhibit or a new food for the polar bears (see extra)? Joking apart, they were all very excited to have spent the morning feeding the polar bears (apple and carrot with a pair of tongs) and then spending time enriching the enclosures for the bears.

Sushi had definitely had an amazing week and he is now convinced that he wants to work in animal conservation and hopefully he can achieve his wish of studying zoology at university.
